  • Re-activation under RBI Resolution 1.0

    1. You will continue to have two credit cards till you clear all EMIs towards the Restructuring Plan on your existing credit card. Once you have paid the entire outstanding amount, your existing credit card will be closed and disabled for fresh transactions permanently. However, you may use your new Tata Credit Card for any transaction basis the transaction mode(s) enabled on your account.
    2. You will receive two separate statements for both the credit card accounts. Payment made for the new Tata Credit Card will not be transferred or adjusted against dues on your existing credit card or vice-versa.
    3. Your existing contact details and Auto Debit/Sweep mandates (if any) provided on your existing card will be replicated to your new Tata Credit Card account.
    4. In case you have availed any insurance policy through Tata Credit Card acting as corporate agent and provided mandate for renewal on your existing card, the renewal premium for such policies will be debited through your new credit card account.
    5. In case you have availed Card Protection Plan (“CPP”) through Tata Credit Card, going forward renewal premium for same will be debited through your new Tata Credit Card account.
    6. Any active Reward Points on your existing card account would not be transferred to your new account.
    7. I understand that the MID (Most Important Document) signed for my original credit card shall continue to apply to the new credit card as well and that there is no change in the MIDs.
  • Credit Balance Refund

    1. This facility is from SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd. (SBICPSL). It is open to all residents of India holding a valid SBI Card of all variants, hereinafter referred to as “Cardholder“ excluding delinquent or other ineligible card holders determined as per internal policy of SBICPSL.
    2. Request for Credit Balance Refund via NEFT, amounts to availing of the benefits and facilities under this facility by the concerned Cardholder and accordingly shall be taken as deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set out herein.
    3. In case of no fund transfer, the cardholder will not hold SBICPSL responsible for any losses, damages, liabilities that may incur to the cardholder and all direct, indirect, incidental and consequential liabilities pertaining to the same does not rest with SBICPSL.
    4. SBICPSL shall not be held liable/responsible for any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses, which the Cardholder may suffer, sustain or incur by availing this facility.
    5. Credit Balance Refund amount may vary or request may be declined post validation as per internal policy.
    6. The terms and conditions shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms and conditions in the Cardholder Agreement.
    7. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment or representation by SBICPSL to conduct further similar or other schemes.
    8. All communication should be addressed to "Customer Care", Correspondence department, SBICPSL, P.O. Bag No. 24, GPO, New Delhi 110 001.
    9. Disbursement through NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) to Bank account designated by the Cardholder (“Designated Account”) will be subject to successful processing at beneficiary banks.
    10. Cardholder agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of the Credit Balance Refund facility as mentioned on SBI Card website. SBI Card will not be responsible for any loss incurred by the Cardholder as a result of any incorrect information provided by the Cardholder with respect to NEFT or Designated Account details. A request for Credit Balance Refund shall be deemed as an absolute consent of/by the Cardholder to accept all the terms of Credit Balance Refund including but not limited to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by it at all times. The Cardholder, hereby agrees that upon the amount being credited to the Designated Account.
    11. In the event of any return of funds/rejection of NEFT from Designated Account (for the requested amount) will be automatically credited back to the customer’s Credit Card account.
    12. Credit Balance Refund amount would be directly transferred to customer’s saving bank account within 48-72 hours (excluding Bank Holidays) of the request.
    13. Any disputes arising out of the Offer between the Cardholder and SBICPSL shall be subject to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by SBICPSL for this purpose. The proceedings of the arbitration shall be conducted as per the provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and amendments thereon. The place of arbitration shall be at New Delhi and language of arbitration shall be English. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against SBICPSL. Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in the Programs. Any such participation is voluntary and the same is being made purely on a “best effort basis”. SBICPSL reserves the right to modify or change any of the terms and conditions applicable to this Program or cancel the entire or partial offer at any time without prior notice to the cardholders.
    14. All information in this communication is correct and is subject to change at the discretion of SBICPSL.
    15. If CBR amount is > 1 Lac on the account, its mandate to send cancelled cheque copy by the customer. Post that only refund can be processed
  • Settlement Terms and Conditions

    Settlement Terms and Conditions

    1. The settlement amount needs to be paid strictly as per the agreed number of instalment(s).
    2. You would be liable to pay towards cheque dishonor or transactions made but not debited by the company.
    3. Any credit towards transaction cancellation, will not be adjusted towards the agreed settlement offer.
    4. In case entire settlement amount/ instalment is not paid by the due date or is dishonored for any reason whatsoever, then the settlement shall become null and void and be of no consequence; and the outstanding amount will be governed by the original terms and conditions of the credit card. Additionally, we shall also be entitled to take further action against you as advised by the law regarding recovery of entire due amount against the Credit Card and/or regarding dishonor of the said amount.
    5. Any Legal Proceedings initiated, or complaints lodged by you or on your behalf against the company and/or its employees, officials and representatives shall be withdrawn unconditionally with immediate effect.
    6. Upon fulfillment of the settlement amount as per the terms and conditions of the settlement, the status of your card account will be updated and appear in CIBIL or any other credit information company as “Settled” or “Post Write-off Settled” with NIL outstanding.
  • RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 (Restructuring Plan)

    RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 (Restructuring Plan)

    1. The RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 (Restructuring Plan) is only being offered to cardholders facing temporary financial stress due to COVID-19. The RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 will stand cancelled in the event any of the declarations/confirmations given by the cardholder at the time of availing the RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 are found to be false and/or misleading. SBI Card reserves the right to cancel the RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 and upon cancellation of the RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 all amounts outstanding on the card account shall be deemed to have immediately become due and payable.
    2. The RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 will be null and void and the waivers / concessions, if any, granted by the Company under the offer shall stand automatically withdrawn with immediate effect in event of default. For your reference, the specific events of default are as follows:
      • Failure to adhere to specific terms of the agreed payment schedule
      • Non-payment of any of the instalments during the said program
    3. Upon acceptance of the RBI Resolution Framework 2.0, the credit facility would be inactive for usage (if not already deactivated). Further, all other credit cards (if any) shall also be deactivated. However, the credit facility may be reactivated on regular EMI repayments subject to Internal policies.
    4. The customer will be liable to pay for any ‘payment bounces’ and transactions/charges not debited till the date of invocation of the RBI Resolution Framework 2.0.
    5. The RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 pertains to an individual credit card account only and cannot be merged with dues on any other Credit card.
    6. Any default in payment as per the agreed EMI Plan shall be reported to the appropriate credit rating agencies. Further, your account status shall be reported as “Restructured Due to COVID-19”
    7. In case of any Auto Debit/Electronic Clearing System mandate submitted by the customer, the payment amount will be revised to Minimum Amount Due/EMI instead of Total Amount Due till the end of RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 tenure or the RBI Resolution Framework 2.0 status gets broken.
    8. Late Payment Charge of up to Rs. 500 shall be levied in each instance of default in making payment as per terms of RBI Resolution Framework 2.0.
    9. Your accumulated reward points, if any, will stand forfeited upon availing the RBI Resolution Framework 2.0.
  • EasyPay Terms and Conditions

    1. The outstanding amount on your TATA Credit Card will be converted to EasyPay Plan (“EPP”) with fixed instalments upon clearing the last statement Minimum Amount Due (MAD) or 15% of the total outstanding (whichever is higher), at least 2 days before the next Statement Due Date.
    2. Please note that you will be liable to pay for any ‘payment bounces’ and transactions made that were not debited till the date of statement generation.
    3. Credit facility extended on your account stands deactivated and will be activated basis internal policies. Upon conversion of your last statement amount into EPP, the Credit Limit of your account will also be reduced.
    4. Any Legal Proceedings initiated, or complaints lodged by you or on your behalf against the company and / or its employees, officials and representatives shall be withdrawn unconditionally with immediate effect from the date of this offer.
    5. In case you have any other relationship with TATA Card, which has outstanding dues, then TATA Card will be within its rights to withhold the activation of accounts till all pending dues are cleared by you
    6. In case of any Auto Debit / Electronic Clearing System mandate, the payment amount will be revised to Minimum Amount Due / EMI instead of Total Amount Due till the end of EPP tenure or the EPP status is broken.
    7. W.e.f. 01st June 2024, Processing Fee will be levied on the EPP booking amount at the rate of 2%, subject to a Min. Amount of Rs. 249 and Max. Amount of Rs. 1,500. Please note, this charge is excluding applicable taxes.
    8. TATA Cardholder can make request for Foreclosure of EPP by calling the TATA Card Helpline. On receipt of this request, the outstanding EPP principal amount is moved back to the Cardholder’s retail balance and a Foreclosure Fee of 3% of the principle outstanding shall be levied on the same.
    9. Your accumulated Reward Points, if any, will stand forfeited upon availing the EPP.
    10. EPP is a hardship tool for customers who are facing temporary hardship in making the payments of their dues. Upon booking of the EPP, the account shall be tagged as NPA, and this shall be reported as 'restructured’ in the bureau. The NPA tag shall be removed upon payment of amount adequate to cover at least 15% of outstanding / overdue amount (whichever is higher)
    11. Accounts will be ‘de-tagged’ post completion of the EPP tenure or if the plan gets ‘broken’.
  • Balance Transfer

    1. The "Low Interest Rate on Balance Transfer" offer from SBI Cards and Payment Services Private Limited ("SBICPSL") is open to all the residents of India holding a valid and Tata Card ("Tata Cardholders"), excluding delinquent and any other ineligible Tata Cardholders determined as per the internal policy of SBICPSL.
    2. Balance Transfer ("BT") amount ordered by the primary Tata Cardholder would be processed by SBICPSL subject to a minimum ordered amount of Rs 5,000 and a maximum ordered amount of 75% of the available credit limit assigned to the concerned primary Tata Card Account.
    3. This facility can be availed by a Cardholder for different tenures at different interest rates and accompanying charges like processing fee etc. as may be set forth by SBICPSL from time to time. By booking a BT of a particular tenure through appropriate medium, a Cardholder expressly consents to meet all his obligations thereto.
    4. It is clarified herein that for and on all subsequent purchases whether made in retail and/or cash and other outstanding balances, the applicable finance charge of up to 3.35% per month (depending on your card type) shall be levied and all such levying of applicable finance charge be made applicable from the date of purchase itself and shall accordingly cover all card holders who may have BT amount in their card account. Furthermore it is clarified that for and up to 50 days interest free period is not valid on any retail purchases or otherwise for those cardholders who may have a BT amount in their account.
    5. In case the cardholder places a cancellation request within 45 days of the BT getting booked, then all fees and interest charged will be reversed. The charges will not be reversed once cheque issued to the cardholder has been cleared and resulted in a clear credit to the cardholder account. In case of a cancellation post 45 days the fees charged will not be reversible and all such fees shall stand forfeited by the Cardholders.
    6. It is stipulated that BT processed through Visa Money Transfer cannot be reversed once the request has been processed or the amount has been credited to the other credit card issuing company by use of this facility. The cardholder using Visa Money Transfer facility accordingly confirms and agrees to this condition while opting for and choosing Visa Money Transfer facility for availing benefits under BT.
    7. The BT facility is not applicable and specifically excludes all additional Tata Cardholders and this facility and all benefits accruing thereof is made open to only the Primary Tata Cardholders as detailed above.
    8. BT request from a Tata Card account which has an overdue status or when the credit limit has been exceeded or is for an amount in excess of the outstanding balance on the other card will not be accepted by SBICPSL.
    9. It is stipulated herein that for availing benefits under the BT offer and availing of this facility resulting in advance of ordered sums of money, Tata Cardholder shall remain liable to SBICPSL till such time that the Tata Cardholder has not paid back all the ordered sums of money including all applicable interest and charges including any penal interest that may be imposed in accordance to terms of this offer and applicable regulations in this regard. All financial liabilities of the cardholder under BT for the offer period as per Plans detailed hereinabove shall be reflected in the monthly statement of accounts issued to the cardholder and shall be conclusive evidence of settling all liabilities of the cardholder for this Offer.
    10. SBICPSL shall not be liable for any additional charges, overdue payments, interest or other related charges on such Tata Card accounts.
    11. SBICPSL reserves sole and absolute right to refuse any BT requests at its discretion.
    12. These terms and conditions shall be deemed to be part of the Tata Cardholder Agreement and are incorporated therein by reference.
    13. All BT cheques will be payable at par at all branch locations of State Bank of India in India.
    14. All BT cheques will be in favour of the other credit card company. The cheques will be sent directly to the customer as per the current address as per SBICPSL records. In the event of the cheque being undelivered at the customer's current address as per SBICPSL records, the cheque will be sent directly to the other credit card company.
    15. The cardholder would generally receive the cheque within 3 working days (for Metro locations) or 5 working days (for all other locations) of the booking. This may, however, vary in case of unforeseen circumstances like bad weather conditions / flight delays / location or pin code being non-serviceable by the courier. Delays in delivery of the cheque may also occur in the event of customer has not updated his current address in the records of Tata Card or in circumstances where the customer is not available at his current address. Tata Card would not be held liable in the event of non-delivery of the instrument within the specified timeline for the foregoing set of reasons.
    16. BT booked for Third Party will not be accepted and the liability for the same will lie solely with the primary cardholder.
    17. In case of all such Tata Card accounts availing of and being under Visa Money Transfer, the funds will be directly credited to the other credit card issuing company within 3 working days.
    18. Visa Money Transfer facility from SBICPSL is currently available on all Visa Credit Cards Only.
    19. SBICPSL will not be responsible and/or liable for any delay in clearance of the B T cheque by the other credit card company and the subsequent interest and/or penal charges.
    20. SBICPSL will not be responsible for any outstation charges levied by the other credit card company towards clearance of the B T cheque.
    21. During the Balance Transfer term, the balance transferred will also be included for computing the Minimum Amount Due (MAD or Minimum Amount Due is currently 5% of the total amount outstanding), as mentioned in credit card statement of SBICPSL Card made available to Tata Card account holder.
    22. SBICPSL shall not be responsible for any actions, ,claims, demands, losses,damages,costs,charges and expenses, which the Tata Cardholder may suffer or incur by availing this offer and accordingly SBICPSL stands indemnified by the Tata Cardholders availing benefits under this Offer.
    23. Tata Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in this offer and such participation is totally voluntary and the offer is being made on a best effort basis.
    24. SBICPSL reserves the right to modify or change all or any of the rules and regulations applicable to the offer at any time to the Tata Cardholder.
    25. All disputes and/or differences arising out of this Offer shall be settled by arbitration conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by SBICPSL. The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 governs such proceedings to be conducted in English at New Delhi. The award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties. Existence of a dispute or difference does not constitute a claim against SBICPSL.
    26. “Applicable Taxes” means:
      • for the cardholders having State of residence in the records of Tata Cards on the statement date as “Haryana” - Central Tax @ 9% and State Tax @ 9%
      • for the cardholders having State of residence in the records of Tata Cards on the statement date as other than “Haryana” - Integrated Tax @ 18%
    27. In case you have opted for the Auto Debit payment mode for the payment of total outstandings on your Tata Card, then, the Total Amount Due on your Tata Card including the Balance Transfer Amount and other charges applicable thereto will be debited from your bank account on the Due Date.
  • Balance Transfer on EMI

    1. The "Balance Transfer on Easy Monthly Installment" ("BT on EMI") facility is an offer from SBI Cards and Payment Services Private Limited ("SBICPSL") which is open to the residents of India holding a valid and subsisting primary Tata Credit Card (" Tata Cardholders") only. This facility is not available to the delinquent and any other ineligible Tata credit cardholders determined as per the internal policy of SBICPSL.
    2. By availing this Offer and benefits accruing thereto, the Cardholder explicitly agrees to be bound by all the terms and conditions herein.
    3. The Offer shall be communicated through the appropriate medium as decided by SBICPSL at its sole option and discretion.
    4. The Balance Transfer amount requested by the primary Tata Cardholder would be processed by SBICPSL subject to a minimum Balance Transfer amount of Rs. 5,000 and a maximum amount of 75% of the available credit limit as assigned to the primary Tata Credit Card Account of the Tata Cardholder.
    5. The BT on EMI is an additional facility offered by SBICPSL to the Tata Cardholders to exercise the option of availing a Balance Transfer amount and to convert it into easy monthly installment over the tenure as applicable to the Balance Transfer. The facility is meant to be a staggered payment option for the Tata Cardholders.
    6. At any given month, the portion of the monthly repayment amount applied towards interest is determined by multiplying the reducing interest rate with the principal outstanding after the deduction of the previous month repayment amount. In other words, the reducing rate of interest is the rate which when charged brings the outstanding principal to zero at the end of the tenure, where the interest charged is calculated on a reducing principal balance.
    7. There are two different BT on EMI Plans available namely:
      • Interest at the rate of 0.75% per month for 3 months
      • Interest at the rate of 1.27% per month for 6 months 
        * Reducing Rate of Interest
    8. This facility can be availed by Tata Cardholders for different tenures and at different interest rates as specified above, after payment of charges e.g. processing fee etc. as may be set forth by SBICPSL from time to time. By opting for a BT on EMI of a particular tenure through appropriate medium, a Cardholder expressly consents to meet all his obligations hereto.
    9. It is clarified that for and up to 50 days interest free period will continue to be valid on any retail purchases for those Tata Cardholders who may have opted for BT on EMI in their account.
    10. In case the cardholder places a cancellation request within 45 days of the BT on EMI getting booked, then all fees and interest charged by SBICPSL will be reversed. Notwithstanding the above such applicable fee and/or charges will not be reversed once cheque issued to the Cardholder has been cleared and resulted in a clear credit to the Cardholder account duly evidenced by the statement of account issued to the Cardholder. Further, in all cases cancellation post elapse of 45 days, the fees and other applicable charges, if any, as may be charged by SBICPSL to the Tata Cardholder will not be reversible and all such fees and/or charges shall stand forfeited.
    11. Visa Money Transfer facility from SBICPSL is currently available on Visa Money Transfer Only. In case of Balance Transfer processed through Visa Money Transfer, it takes 3 working days to credit the amount to the other credit card issuing company. The Tata Cardholder understands that once the request has been processed and the amount has been so credited to other credit card issuing company, the request cannot be reversed.
    12. The Tata cardholder shall be levied a foreclosure fee amounting to 3% of the Principal amount outstanding in case of the Offer being voluntarily pre-closed by the customer prior to the maturity of the tenure period opted for. The principal outstanding is calculated basis reducing interest rate as shown in the amortisation scheduled sent along with Balance Transfer on EMI Cheque/ Draft. In the illustration mentioned in point 33 the “Principal Outstanding” column will be used to calculate the foreclosure amount for example if the cardholder forecloses in the 2nd month the foreclosure amount will be calculated as Rs. 3358*3% =Rs. 100.74.
    13. The BT on EMI facility is not applicable and specifically excludes all add on Tata Cardholders and this facility and all benefits accruing thereof is made open to only the Primary Tata Cardholders as detailed above. Accordingly, no request from any Add on Tata Cardholders shall be entertained by SBICPSL in this regard.
    14. No BT on EMI request from a Tata Card account will be accepted or processed by SBICPSL, if there is an overdue status or when the credit limit on the credit card account has been exceeded.
    15. Tata Cardholder shall remain liable to SBICPSL till such time that the Tata Cardholder has not paid back the entire BT EMIs including all applicable interest, charges and/or penal interest if any, that may be imposed in accordance to terms of this offer consistent with applicable regulations in this regard. All financial liabilities of the cardholder under Balance Transfer on EMI for the offer period as per plans detailed hereinabove shall be reflected in the monthly statement of accounts issued to the cardholder and shall be conclusive evidence of settling all liabilities of the Tata Cardholder for this Offer.
    16. Transfer from this Offer to any other offer will not be entertained. SBICPSL reserves sole and absolute right to refuse any BT on EMI requests at its sole discretion.
    17. All Balance Transfer cheques will be payable at par at all branch locations of State Bank of India in India.
    18. All BT cheques will be in favor of the other credit card company for which the Balance Transfer has been availed by the Tata Cardholder. The cheques will be sent directly to the Tata Cardholders as per the current address available and maintained in the records of SBICPSL. In the event of the cheque being undelivered at the Cardholders’ current address as per SBICPSL records, the cheque will be sent directly to the other credit card company as communicated by the Cardholder to SBICPSL.
    19. The cardholder would generally receive the cheque within 3 working days (for Metro locations) or 5 working days (for all other locations) of the booking. This may, however, vary in case of unforeseen circumstances like bad weather conditions / flight delays / location or pin code being non-serviceable by the courier. Delays in delivery of the cheque may also occur in the event of customer has not updated his current address in the records of Tata Card or in circumstances where the customer is not available at his current address. Tata Card would not be held liable in the event of non-delivery of the instrument within the specified timeline for the foregoing set of reasons.v
    20. BT on EMI booked for Third Party will not be accepted and the liability for the same will lie solely with the primary cardholder.
    21. SBICPSL will not be responsible and/or be liable for any delay in clearance of the Balance Transfer cheque by the other credit card company and the subsequent late payment charges, interest and/or penal charges as may be levied by such other credit card company or for any outstation clearing charges, if any, levied by the other credit card company towards clearance of the Balance Transfer cheque.
    22. The Minimum Amount Due (MAD) will be calculated at the rate of 5% of the Tata Cardholder’s existing revolving balances (Retail/Cash/Balance Transfer) and BT on EMI monthly installment due (or all BT on EMI monthly installments due in case of multiple BT on EMI booked by the Cardholder)’.
    23. Non Payment of MAD will attract normal late payment fees and a standard credit charge of 3.35% on the unpaid BT on EMI monthly installments. Under Payment of MAD will attract normal late payment fees and a standard credit charge of 3.35% on the unpaid BT on EMI monthly installments.
    24. In case the Cardholder has availed BT on EMI for the maximum eligible amount, he shall not be eligible to book or use the service again till the time the BT on EMI booked on the Tata Card in has been paid in full or part or the existing credit limit gets extended. If the Cardholder repays the BT on EMI booked in parts, he can book another BT on EMI for this amount (Please refer to the Order of Payment Settlement to understand how the amount paid against your Tata Card outstanding is settled).
    25. At any given point in time, BT on EMI booking on an account cannot exceed 75% of the available Credit Limit.
    26. SBICPSL shall not be responsible for any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses, which the Tata Cardholder may suffer or incur by availing this offer and accordingly SBICPSL stands indemnified by the Tata Credit Cardholders availing benefits under this Offer.
    27. Tata Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in this offer. Any participation is totally voluntary and the offer is being made on a best effort basis.
    28. SBICPSL reserves the right to modify and/or change all or any of the terms and conditions applicable to the offer any time after giving due notice to the Tata Cardholder, without affecting the BT on EMI bookings already done.
    29. “Applicable Taxes” means:
      • for the cardholders having State of residence in the records of Tata Cards on the statement date as “Haryana” - Central Tax @ 9% and State Tax @ 9%
      • for the cardholders having State of residence in the records of Tata Cards on the statement date as other than “Haryana” - Integrated Tax @ 18%
    30. All disputes and/or differences, claims etc., arising out of or related to this Offer shall be settled by arbitration conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by SBICPSL.   • Flexipay

    1. The Flexipay facility is open to all residents of India holding a valid and current Tata Card issued by SBI Cards and Payment Services Private Limited (“SBICPSL”) with Minimum Amount Due (“MAD”) as reflected in the last Statement of Account (“ SOA”) paid in full.
    2. The Flexipay facility is not available to the delinquent and any other ineligible Tata Cardholders determined as per the internal policy of SBICPSL. Accordingly approval of Flexipay facility is at the sole and absolute discretion of SBICPSL.
    3. The Flexipay facility may be availed by the Tata Cardholder by way of telephone and/or by way of online booking made via tatacard.com
    4. Rate of Interest
      Default rate: The Flexipay facility carries a 22% rate of interest
      Dynamic rate: A differential interest rate policy for Flexipay has been incorporated for a select set of cardholders. Under this policy, the applicable interest rate is specific to the cardholder and is intimated prior to availing the facility. The offered rate of interest is determined by factors such as, but not limited to:
      • Past transaction / repayment behavior of the customer
      • Credit risk profile
      The cost of funds and other operational costs for the business also determine the rate of interest. Under this program the interest rate ranges from 11% - 22% p.a. The interest rate range may vary from the mentioned range and will be at sole discretion of SBI Card.
    5. Changes in factors mentioned above may result in upward or downward revision of the interest applicable on the Flexipay facility from time to time / from offer to offer at the sole discretion of Tata Cards. All fees / charges applicable to the facility may or may not be dynamic and are subject to modifications based on Tata Cards periodic internal review.
    6. Additionally a processing fee will be charged on the Flexipay amount at the rate of 2% subject to a minimum of Rs. 249 and a maximum of Rs. 1,500.
    7. The Flexipay facility from SBICPSL is available over different tenures of 6, 9, 12, 24 months, subject to the option exercised by the Tata Cardholders. The tenure option of 36 months is only available for booking amount greater than or equal to Rs. 30,000. Minimum amount eligibility for 36 months tenure may be changed by SBICPSL at its sole option and discretion
    8. The Flexipay facility is subject to a minimum single retail purchase amount of Rs. 500 or more. The SBI Credit Cardholders, on making a purchase of Rs. 500 or more can call up SBI Card help line within 30 days of the purchase / before the Payment Due Date (whichever is earlier) and ask for transfer of the said retail transaction amount to Flexipay. This may vary in case of specific offers. Minimum booking amount for Flexipay conversion is Rs. 2,500. It is further clarified that transactions under certain merchant categories like Fuel & Cash withdrawal transactions cannot be converted into Flexipay. Accordingly and in pursuant thereto , SBI Card at its sole instance may decline Flexipay facility on such transaction categories.

    9. For the purposes of booking Flexipay, the period of 30 days from the date of the retail transaction/ before the Payment Due Date (whichever is earlier) is the defined term (“Term”). If any transaction is converted to Flexipay after the Payment Due Date (“PDD”), interest charges of 3.35% will be levied on the transaction amount for the period beginning from the date of transaction to the date on which Flexipay conversion takes place. Additionally it is clarified that irrespective of the foregoing charges, a cardholder who has not paid the “MAD” in full, late payment charges will be levied.

    10. It is clarified that, if the said retail transaction is paid in full the same cannot be converted to Flexipay. If the transaction amount is partially paid and the unpaid amount is equal to Rs. 2,500 or more, only the unpaid balance amount can be converted to Flexipay.
    11. In case the Tata Cardholders has made multiple retail purchase transactions, each one of them more than Rs. 2,500, then the Tata Cardholders can combine these transactions and move the consolidated purchase amount to the Flexipay Scheme.
    12. In case the SBI Credit cardholders has made multiple retail purchase transactions, each one of them more than Rs. 500, then the SBI Credit Cardholders can combine these transactions and move the consolidated purchase amount to the Flexipay Scheme. This may vary in case of specific offers. Minimum booking amount Rs. 2500
      The transfer of retail purchase transaction(s) to Flexipay will only be allowed if Current Balance Amount (Billed and Unbilled) + Interest + Processing Fee is less than the Credit Limit available at the time of transfer to the Flexipay.
    13. The Flexipay facility is applicable/available only on retail purchases (subject to minimum single retail transaction of Rs. 500 or more) made by either Primary or Add on SBI Credit Card. No request from Add on SBI Credit Cardholder will be entertained for transfer of retail purchases to Flexipay. This may vary in case of specific offers.

    14. Upon Flexipay approval, the Tata Cardholder credit limit shall be blocked upto Flexipay Principal Amount + Processing Fee. The Credit limit gets adjusted as and when the Flexipay installment payments are made by the Tata Cardholder.

    15. A Tata Card holder can take multiple Flexipay subject to the available credit limit on his Tata Card account.
    16. Flexipay monthly installment schedule will begin from the Tata Cardholder next billing statement and continue over the Flexipay tenure. The Flexipay monthly installment (s) shall be included in the MAD of the Statement of account in the duration of the Flexipay tenure.
    17. The MAD will be 5% of the Tata Cardholder existing revolving balances (Retail/Cash/Balance Transfer) and Flexipay monthly installment due (or all Flexipay monthly installments due in case of multiple Flexipays booked by the Cardholder).
    18. Non Payment of MAD will attract normal late payment fees and a standard credit charge of 3.35% on the unpaid Flexipay monthly installments.

    20. In the event of non-payment / short payment of the Minimum Amount Due for more than three successive months or 90 days whichever is earlier, the Flexipay shall be closed on 91st day and the principal outstanding along with the outstanding interest accrued till the date of such closure shall be debited to the Credit Card Account and appear in the subsequent monthly statement. Tata Card shall be entitled to demand immediate repayment of such consolidated outstanding amounts. As a part of the Credit Card Account, this balance will now attract all the charges including finance charges at the credit card rate of interest, over-limit charges in the event account balance post transfer of loan outstanding if any exceeds the existing Credit Card limit as mentioned in the cardholders MITC.
    21. In the event, a cardholder puts a cancellation request, within 45 days of Flexipay facility getting booked then all fees charged will be reversed.
    22. The Tata Cardholder can make request for cancellation of Flexipay by calling the Tata Cards helpline. On receipt of this request, the outstanding Flexipay principal amount is moved back to Tata Cardholders retail balance and a cancellation fee of 3% post 45 days shall be levied on the same. The outstanding principle amount is calculated basis reducing interest rate.
    23. At the time of cancellation of Flexipay, if the Tata Cardholders account is revolving, then the above mentioned amount (Flexipay Principal amount + Cancellation fee) will be added to the revolving balance and will attract a standard credit card interest charges.
    24. Booking a Flexipay on phone will be deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions of this programme as set forth on tatacard.com and/or any other medium chosen by SBICPSL.
    25. Flexipay booking requests sent by mail or electronic mail will be considered valid only if received by SBICPSL within 30 days of transaction date/ before the Payment Due Date (whichever is earlier).
    26. No request for Flexipay will be entertained within 90 days of Tata Cardholder’s flipping/change of card request.
    27. Transfer from one Flexipay to another will not be entertained.
    28. The terms and conditions of Flexipay bookings may be altered, amended or changed by SBICPSL at its sole option and discretion at any time without affecting the Flexipay bookings already done.
    29. Tata Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in this program. Any such participation is voluntary. Flexipay is offered by SBICPSL on best effort basis.
    30. “Applicable Taxes” means:
      • for the cardholders having State of residence in the records of Tata Cards on the statement date as “Haryana” - Central Tax @ 9% and State Tax @ 9%
      • for the cardholders having State of residence in the records of Tata Cards on the statement date as other than “Haryana” - Integrated Tax @ 18%
    31. All and any disputes or differences arising from the Offer shall be subject to arbitration within the meaning of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. A sole arbitrator appointed by SBICPSL for this purpose shall carry out arbitration of all such disputes and/or differences. The award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the disputing parties. The place of arbitration shall be New Delhi and the language of arbitration shall be English. Existence of a difference /dispute shall not constitute a claim against SBICPSL.

  • Encash

    1. This Encash Offer ("Offer") is made by SBI Cards & Payment Services Pvt. Ltd ("SBICPSL") to certain Tata Card holders ("Cardholders"). The intended recipients shall receive the Offer through appropriate medium as chosen by SBICPSL. By availing this Offer and benefits accruing thereto, the Cardholder explicitly agrees to be bound by all the terms and conditions herein
    2. This Offer carries a rate of interest which shall be charged to the Cardholder on the offered principal amount and is used for calculating all his financial obligations under this Offer and the same shall be the basis of drawing the appropriate amortization Schedule enumerated under Clause 31 herein below. In addition, the Cardholder shall also be charged a Processing fee at the rate of 2% of the principal amount advanced but subject to a minimum amount of Rs.499 (Four Hundred and Ninety Nine only) and a maximum of Rs. 3000 (Three Thousand Only)
    3. The Rate of Interest applicable for Encash facility is cardmember specific as decided by SBI Cards at its sole discretion and intimated to the cardmember prior to availing the facility. The rate of interest offered to a customer is determined by factors such as, but not limited to:
      • Past transaction / repayment behavior of the customer
      • Credit risk profile
      The cost of funds and other operational costs for the business also determine the rate of interest. Interest rate applicable on Encash facility ranges from 12.7% – 29%.
    4. Changes in factors mentioned above may result in upward or downward revision of the interest applicable on the Encash facility from time to time / from offer to offer at the sole discretion of Tata Cards. All fees / charges applicable to the facility may or may not be dynamic and are subject to modifications based on Tata Cards periodic internal review
    5. This Offer is also subject to a maximum limit on the amount that may be availed by the Cardholder. The limit on the Offer can either be over and above the existing credit limit or from within the existing credit limit of Tata Card. In all events when an Encash is offered over and above the credit limit, the maximum limit shall be contained and communicated by way of the proposed communication medium as made applicable by SBICPSL to the intended recipient. . In all events when an Encash is offered from the credit limit, the amount offered will be part of the existing credit limit and the credit limit shall be blocked upto Principal availed + Interest component. On payment of the monthly repayment amount, the Credit limit to the extent of monthly repayment amount will be credited back to the existing credit limit. It is clarified that the maximum amount offered will be subject to the available credit limit on the Card at the time of availing the Offer. This Offer (both in case of over the existing limit or within the existing limit) is subject to a minimum request for an amount of Rs. 10,000 (Ten Thousand Only)
    6. TATA cardholders can avail the benefits under this Offer by requesting for a cheque which would be send to the cardholder’s registered address.
    7. The monthly repayment amount is calculated as (Principal Amount + Interest charge) / Tenure in months. The interest charged is the reducing rate of interest and accordingly at any given month the portion of the monthly repayment amount applied towards interest is determined by multiplying the reducing interest rate with the principal outstanding after the deduction of the previous month repayment amount. In other words, the reducing rate of interest is the rate which when charged brings the outstanding principal to zero at the end of the tenor, where the interest charged is calculated on a reducing principal balance.
    8. The monthly repayment schedule will begin from the Tata Cardholder next billing statement and continue over the tenure period chosen for the Offer.
    9. The Minimum Amount Due (MAD) will be 5% of the Tata Cardholders existing revolving balances (Retail/Cash/Balance Transfer) and the monthly repayment amount due under the Offer (or all monthly repayment amounts due in case of multiple Offers).

    14. The TATA cardholder may place a request for voluntarily pre-closing the Encash Offer prior to the maturity of the tenure period opted for, by calling the SBI Card Helpline or through our website. A foreclosure fee amounting to 3% of the Principal outstanding would be levied for such pre-closure requests. The Principal outstanding is calculated basis interest rate as applicable.
    15. In the event a cardholder puts a cancellation request by calling TATA Card helpline within 45 days of the Offer being booked, then all fees and charges levied will be reversed. Notwithstanding above, it is clarified that the applicable fees and charges will not be reversed once the cheque issued to the cardholder has been cleared and resulted in clear credit to the Cardholder account. Also, in case the cancellation request is received at the TATA Card helpline post 45 days of booking, the processing fees charged will not be reversed and the cardholder would be liable to pay same.
    16. No request for change in billing cycle will be entertained before all the repayment amounts have been cleared by the Cardholder.
    17. Transfer from this Offer to any other offer will not be entertained. SBICPSL reserves its absolute right at any time to add, alter, modify or change or vary terms and conditions herein after giving due notice to the Cardholder.
    18. Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in this Offer. Any such participation is voluntary.

    22. No request from Add-on being additional Tata Cardholder other than primary Cardholder will be entertained for booking of Offer or availing benefits under this offer.
    23. SBICPSL may at its sole option and discretion withdraw this Offer any time before the Encash cheque has been honored/banked.
    24. The cardholder would generally receive the cheque within 3 working days (for Metro locations) or 5 days (for all other locations) of the booking. This may, however, vary in case of unforeseen circumstances like bad weather conditions / flight delays / location or pin code being non-serviceable by the courier. Delays in delivery of the cheque may also occur in the event of customer has not updated his current address in the records of Tata Cards or in circumstances where the customer is not available at his current address. Tata Cards would not be held liable in the event of non-delivery of the instrument within the specified timeline for the foregoing set of reasons.

  • Empower Point Program

    THE PROGRAM:

    The Tata Card Rewards Program (“the Program”) allows eligible Tata Cardholders (“Cardholder/s”) to accumulate points (“Points”) from spending on their Tata Card, as determined by SBI Cards & Payment Services Private Limited (“SBICPSL”) from time to time. Points accumulated on such Tata Card can be exchanged for a wide variety of rewards.

    Eligibility

    1. The Program is open to holders of Tata Platinum Card, Tata Titanium Card, Tata Premiere Card and Tata Privilege Card (“Tata Card/s”) whose accounts are valid and in good standing and any other Card so determined by SBICPSL.
    2. The Points earned by an Additional Cardholder will accrue to the account of the Primary Cardholder.
    3. Minimum 500 Reward Points required for any form of redemption.

    Enrolment

    1. Participation in the Program is voluntary.
    2. The Cardholder may opt out of the Program by sending intimation (telephonic or written) to SBICPSL.
    3. The Cardholder may continue to use his/her Tata Cards as he/she normally does.
    4. The Annual Fee for participation in the Program may be as determined by SBICPSL from time to time.
    5. Enrolment Date - shall mean the date of launch of the Program for the existing Cardholders and the account set up date by SBICPSL for the new Cardholders.
    6. Enrolment Year - shall mean “any twelve-month period” commencing on the Enrolment Date.

    Points

      1. The Cardholder shall earn at least 1 (one) Point for every eligible Rs. 100 charged to his/her Tata Card. The Cardholder shall earn at least 1 (one) Point for every eligible Rs. 100 charged to his/her Tata Platinum Card for Domestic as well international transactions.

        9. Purchases at petrol pumps/service stations identified under MCC 5172, 5541, 5983, 5542
        10. Any charge incurred prior to his/her enrollment date
        11. W.e.f. 01 Jul 2023, accrual of Reward Points will be discontinued for Rent Payment transactions on following credit cards: Tata Cards, Tata Croma Card & Tata Star Card. Eligible Rent Payment transactions for the purpose of Reward Points shall be identified under Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6513 on best effort basis.
        12. W.e.f. 15 Apr 2024, accrual of Reward Points on Rent Payment transactions will be discontinued on following credit cards :Tata Card Platinum, Tata Croma Card Platinum, Tata STAR Card Platinum, Tata Card SELECT, Tata Croma Card SELECT, Tata STAR Card SELECT. Rent Payment transactions shall be identified under Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6513, on best effort basis.
        13. W.e.f. 15 July 2024, accrual of Reward Points on Govt Related transactions will be discontinued for all Tata credit cards. Government related transactions shall be identified under Merchant Category Codes (MCC) 9399 and 9311, on best effort basis.

    The reward points awarded for the following transactions /activities, will be reversed:

        1. Transactions pertaining to returned goods or services.
        2. Billing disputes; i.e., In case a customer raises a dispute with SBICPSL regarding the happening of a particular transaction for which he/she has been awarded reward points and the dispute has been settled in favor of the customer, then SBICPSL shall reverse the points awarded to the customer with respect to the transaction.
        3. Flexipay w.e.f 20th November 2020;
        4. Merchant EMI i.e. EMI availed at the time of purchase at Merchant establishment or websites, w.e.f 20th November 2020;

    In the event of Foreclosure of Flexipay/ Merchant EMI, no Reward Points will be credited back in any scenario.

    All identification of eligible & non-eligible transactions regarding Rewards by SBICPSL are on a best effort basis & may be subject to technical glitches.

            1. A Cardholder cannot accrue Points for any charge incurred prior to his/her Enrolment Date.
            2. Points accumulated by a Cardholder on an Tata Card cannot be combined or used in conjunction with Points of his/her other Tata Cards at the time of redemption or transferred to any other customer loyalty program unless otherwise notified by SBICPSL.
            3. The Points do not constitute property of the Cardholder and are not transferable by operation of law or otherwise to any other person or entity.
            4. The Points accrued do not have cash or any monetary value.
            5. Adjustments will be made to the Points if there are any credits, including those arising from returned goods or services or billing disputes. If a disputed transaction is resolved in favour of the Cardholder or where a transaction is reversed, proportionate Points will also be reversed and credited to the Cardholder. On redemption, the Points would automatically be subtracted from the Points accumulated in the Cardholder's account.
            6. Points accumulated that are not redeemed by the Cardholder for rewards within 12 months of his / her Enrolment Date can be carried over for another Enrolment Year. Any Points not used by the end of second such year after Enrolment shall lapse and be forfeited.
            7. SBICPSL will notify the Primary Cardholder in the monthly statement of account in respect of the Tata Card of the number of Points accumulated immediately preceding the closing date for the said monthly statement.
            8. In the event the Tata Card is voluntarily closed by the Cardholder, the Points accumulated on his/her Tata Card can be redeemed within 45 days of closure, otherwise these will automatically lapse. In the event of cancellation of the Tata Card for any other reason, all the Points accumulated will stand forfeited. If the Tata Card is blocked or suspended by SBICPSL for any reason whatsoever, then the Points accumulated shall stand forfeited but may be reinstated at the discretion of SBICPSL if use of Tata Card is reinstated.
            9. For all the Tata Platinum Card Variants, 3X Reward Points earning has been capped to 3,000 RPs per statement cycle (1000 RPs for International Spends, 2000 RPs for Dining, Departmental & Grocery spends). Once the RPs reach the capped value, 1 RP would be given as per the base program.
            10. For all the Tata Titanium Card Variants, 3X Reward Points earning in accelerated category (Departmental & Grocery spends) has been capped to 1500 RPs per statement cycle. Once the RPs reach the capped value, 1 RP would be given as per the base program.
            11. SBICPSL's decision on computation of Points will be final, conclusive and binding on the Cardholder.

    Redemption

        1. The Tata Card must not be overdue, suspended, blocked, cancelled or terminated by SBICPSL at the time of the redemption request.
        2. The Points accrued can only be redeemed by the Primary Cardholder, and not by an Additional Cardholder.
        3. The Points may be redeemed at Tata Partners participating merchant establishments for a variety of rewards/services/products, as detailed in mailers issued by SBICPSL from time to time, e.g., merchandise, shopping, dining, travel, entertainment, fee waivers, financial services, credit card upgrades. The Points cannot be exchanged for cash or credit or used to obtain cash advances, or used against payment for any charges incurred on the Tata Card.
        4. SBICPSL will mail a redemption certificate / voucher (only as exception where Tata Partner outlets are not in the city where the card holder is residing) to the Cardholder in approximately six to eight weeks' after receiving the redemption request from the Cardholder.
        5. SBICPSL is not liable for any delay or loss in delivery of the redemption certificates / vouchers or rewards.
        6. Redeemed rewards are not exchangeable for other rewards, or refundable, replaceable, or transferable for cash or credit under any circumstances, nor can these be re-converted back to Points. Once exchanged for another partner loyalty program, if any, Points cannot be transferred back.
        7. All rewards are subject to availability and certain restrictions may apply. The redemption procedure and the additional terms and conditions for each reward are set forth in the redemption certificates/vouchers issued to the Cardholder.
        8. Any additional meals, transportation, accommodation arrangements, courier or other costs incurred in connection with redemption of any reward will be the sole responsibility of the Cardholder.
        9. Issuance of a redemption certificate for dining, travel or hotel accommodation does not constitute a reservation. The Cardholder is responsible for making all reservations and notifying the participating merchant establishments of the reward(s) he/she is going to redeem.
        10. Other benefits on the Tata Card which are activated by use of the Tata Card do not apply to goods or services received as rewards under the Program.

          1. Customer can redeem their Reward Points against EGV of Star Bazaar, Tanishq, Titan, Croma, GINGER, Westside & Landmark.

    • Star welcome E - Vouchers are linked to the annual fees payment and would be sent post receipts of annual fees only.
    • Star welcome E - vouchers are valid for usage in STAR outlets only & not redeemable at STAR Quick.
    • The denomination of INR 3500/- & INR 1000/- are sent for Tata STAR Platinum & Tata STAR Titanium customers respectively.
    • Star welcome E - vouchers are redeemable for only one time and cannot be used multiple times or partially.
    • Star welcome E - vouchers would be valid for 1 Year from the date of activation.
    • Star welcome E - vouchers would be sent post 30 days of full receipt of annual fees , any partial fee payments of fees would not qualify for welcome vouchers.
    • Gujarat customers can redeem their vouchers in Gujarat stores only and Non Gujarat customers can redeem their vouchers in Non Gujrat Stores only, currently limited to Maharashtra, Bengaluru, & Hyderabad.
